Im a Bass player but......

i do love guitar! I started out as a guitar player and switched to Bass because, well i was a hack so taking two strings away seemed like a good idea! My Bro Stephen is a fantastic guitar player, he plays a Martin Acoustic, an expensive one that i have only touched about twice! Anyway i read a great article here about the legendary Martin Brand, it is very interesting but the point of this post was to ask a question that someone posed as a comment to the article.

I need to have a think about this and will likely give about 3 or 20 different possible answers!
