I've been listening to it on myspace for a few days... I'm slowly coming around to it... but then I'm not a massive Coldplay fan, but i do quite like it
Both my Boys, 9 and 13 love the new single. If I think about it, I start to hum the melody--which in Coldplay's fashion, is oh so catchy.
which one maurillo? Violet hill or Viva La Vida?
as i type this they are performing them both on BBC 1...........awesome

Seriously though, it's more of a grower than any of their previous albums.
I haven't had the opportunity to listen to alot of Coldplay, but I heard Violet Hill on the radio yesterday. I love it!
I like it.
Took a couple of listens but I love the band and liking this new album.
It's not out in the States yet ... we have to wait til June 17. :(
I have it on pre-order in my iTunes ...
I finally was able to listen to the album in full last week and it was incredible.
The lyrics and song writing at first glance are what I think makes this album. You really have to go beyond the music (which is great) to see the depth they have put into this work.
I will say I am probably not as objective with this group as I would like, I went in really liking the group in whole, but I still think it is one of their best albums yet.

Haven't heard the album. And I don't know much about Coldplay, actually, and apparently I'm missing out on something.
my update on the album is that it is flipping great!! i was initially impressed BUT now i am VERY impressed.....................
KK just bought this tonight. .
myself, i wanna get the new REM disc. . been hearing' 'supernatural, superserious' on the radio at work. . i like it!
